| Customer Reviews: Not just for preschoolers! August 28, 2010 William Iler I bought these blocks for my teenage girls this summer. We built with them as we watched old movies. I bought two more sets to total 300 blocks. I took them to school. I have a group of high school students (boys and girls) that have come to my classroom during break over the last week just to build with the blocks. They can build anything.
Best blocks ever! February 13, 2010 Erin Thompson (Grand Forks, ND) We got these for my 5 year old son, who has just recently discovered the joy of blocks. He loves it!!!! Our only complaint is that I should have bought the 200 piece set (I bought the 100 since I wasn't sure how much he would enjoy these), but we have since bought him another set to add to this one. He builds such fun things with these. Because they are all exactly the same size, it makes house building, train building, and anything else he can come up with so easy and fun. He combines these with the Melissa and Doug wooden blocks that he has to create quite the masterpieces. I cannot wait to see the new things he designs as he grows older. I highly, highly recommend these amazing blocks (though would get at least 200 to start) to anyone with preschoolers or older. They are hours of good, educational fun.
citiblocs are great November 9, 2009 Jean (Olympia WA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
As an inhome daycare provider I am always on the watch for toys that will help the kids learn and keep them busy. Citiblocs are great. They are durable and openended play time that attract the kids again and again. I would hightly recomend them. They are also much more affordable than the other blocks out there that look the same but cost more money. I saved some more money by buying my citiblocs at Amazon. Thanks Amazon.
These are very basic, which is good. October 16, 2009 R. Smith 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
These little blocks are very basic and kids can really use their imaginations when playing with them. They only problem is if yours are around the ages of my grandchildren (2,3,3,4) then the pictures in the instruction book are very difficult, if not impossible, for a small child to build. Of course that doesn't keep them from wanting to build them which puts you right down on the floor with them. And some were too hard for me.
Otherwise, these are great little building blocks. Just hide the hard pictures!
